Lionel, 99, and his wife Ellen Buxton, 100, met in March 1930, married on July 18th 1936 and have been inseperable ever since.
The couple, together a total of 82 years, have not spent more than one night apart.
Upon speaking of their marriage, Ellen says:
“We have never been apart really and have never wanted anyone else. We have been married happily because we have been good friends as well as husband and wife.
We have always made sure we have had nice evenings out together. Whether it is going for a romantic meal or out to play bingo
‘We are more in love now than ever. We keep each other going.”
Today, or for the past week I guess I’ve been breaking down, I feel like I’m changing and I’m sick of what I’ve been and was. I’m pretty scared myself, or pretty much just broken. But on the up note I’ve taken everything into account seriously and I’ve been really concentrating on my bboying and self education. Once I land this job I might get for a warehouse I’ll be set until I leave for the navy!
But besides that I don’t want to associate myself with anyone for the time being, but I only face one of my bestfriend due to gym workout and such, I’m tired and sick of everything well just mainly on how people expect things, It really pisses me off on the circumstances. All I have are my handful of friends, Dance, Love, and Dreams. And I came to a realization on how much I dislike my family….I love them because of the raising of me…But I don’t want to associate with them at all. Am I a bad person for this?
